This is a 24 st punchcard machine with a ribber (SRP50). It has been cleaned and oiled, a new sponge bar put in and the machine has been checked out. . I have knit various stitch patterns on it and have knit a baby's hat to make sure that it is working correctly. This machine comes with a built in knit contour and paper patterns that feed into the machine so that you don't need written pattern instructions to knit a sweater. If you are not familiar with knitting machines this is a standard gauge machine (4.5 mm), the most popular gauge and one of the most popular machines. It uses 4 ply to 1 ply yarn on cones. 4ply being about the size of fine baby hand knitting yarn (which you can also use). On high tensions it can knit soft DK yarn. It knits stocking stitch beautifully and with the punchcard you can knit two colours in a row at one time, as well as tuck, slip, punchlace, tuck lace, and plaiting. With the ribber attached you can knit 1x1 rib, 2x2 rib and other ribs including tuck rib and double jacquard (no floats). It comes with the original set of punchcards (20), the ribber punchcards (10), tools, manuals, and knit contour paper patterns.
