Sansui 350 Solid State Receiver made in Japan This model was first manufactued and marketed in 1968 This 55-year-old unit has been completely restored to 'like new' functional condition and upgraded with LED lighting and fresh electrolytic capacitors throughout. By the early 1970s Japanese manufacturers were so successful that they were beginning to drive American manufactuerers like H.H. Scott and Fisher out of business. Sansui mainly targeted the middle of the market: Quality electronics with a luxury feel at an affordable price point. This receiver is one of their humbler offerings, but features the aesthetic and audio qualities which made Sansui famous. Fully rebuilt and perfectly working, it functions as well now as it did when it left the factory in the 1960s! It has been further upgraded with LED bulbs which run cooler and should last forever - unlike the original bulbs which ran hot and were expected to be changed regularly.
