Yamaha P-751 Turntable; manufactured in Japan circa 1981 Features: Adjustable VTA, Quartz Lock, Direct Drive. This turntable has been professionally restored including all new capacitors, mechanism and motor disassembled and relubricated, etc. It functions now as well as when it left the factory in the 1980s! The Yamaha P-751 is a remarkably high-spec turntable with exceptional speed stability. It is fully automatic, which eliminates any risk of damaging your precious records - simply press one button and the music starts. Also features adjustable VTA (tonearm base can be raised or lowered) which is a feature not available on lower-priced consumer-grade turntables!!! Includes original Ortofon brand cartridge with good stylus. This is a high-performing machine in 'like new' functional condition. Cosmetic condition is 'excellent, used' with some light scratches to the dust cover which are visible only in certain lighting and on very close inspection.
