Yamaha KX-230 Cassette Player. First marketed in 1989. Manufactured in Japan. This machine has been professionally restored and now functions 'like new', the same as when it left the factory in 1989. Restoration procees included installation of new belts, new capacitors, mechanism disassembled and relubricated, tape path cleaned and demagnetized, calibrated for azimuth and level, etc. I hear dozens of cassette decks every year, and the performance and sound quality of this one exceeded all expectations - it is a truly great sounding machine fully restored and ready for daily use. The single-deck mechanism is ruggedly designed and less prone to malfunction than comparable double-deck models. I can and do personally recommend this one! Hearing is believing!
