Merlin - Great Dane Dog

Shelter: BC SPCA - Nanaimo & District Branch Animal ID: 506891 Birthdate: February 10, 2010 - Senior Spayed/Neutered: Yes Male At 10 year young our super senior Merlin is looking to retire from his Magician days. He is a laid back guy who likes to go for short walks (he walks excellently on leash) and spend time in the yard soaking up the sunshine. He list of hopes for his new home include: Extra Large beds...the comfier the better, an ample supply of his favourite treats... he's not picky, and lots of time hanging out with his favourite people. Merlin suits a home that has experience with giant breeds. No little people for this guy, he would be happy in a home with adults and children over 12. Merlin has lived with other large breed dogs in the past, he would likely be best with a female canine friend in the home. Merlin does have arthritis and will need ongoing medications to help him feeling comfortable and limber. He would be best with minimal stairs to climb up or a ramp to help him along as he gets older.
