Stereomaster 342-C made in the U.S.A. by H.H. Scott This model was first manufactued and marketed in 1969 This 55-year-old unit has been completely restored to 'like new' functional condition and upgraded with fresh electrolytic capacitors throughout. It is now in perfect working order and can be expected to serve reliably for years to come. 30 Watts per channel @ 8 ohms Excellent long distance FM radio Integrated phono preamp for vinyl records H.H. Scott was a highly reputable American brand competing with the likes of Fisher, Harman Kardon, and McIntosh for the audiophile market in the 1950s and 1960s. This receiver is one of their humbler offerings, but features the audio, design, and build quality which made H.H. Scott famous. The 342-C was the third and final update of the 342 model variations, with aesthetic and functional improvements over the A and B models. Fully rebuilt and perfectly working, it functions as well now as it did when it left the factory in the 1960s!
