Made in West Germany by Dual in the mid-late 1960s. Plays all four speeds: 16, 33, 45 & 78 rpm. This nearly-60-year-old turntable has been recently serviced and maintained, all functions restored and tested. Idler wheel is soft and supple, mechanism relubricated, rumble is wiithin spec, cartridge aligned and new stylus installed. New polarized AC cord and gold-plated RCA plugs. The Dual 1019 is a very highly regarded classic turntable, and a great introduction to the 'idler drive sound' which no modern turntable can offer. Features removable headshell with universal 1/2" mount, very heavy cast metal platter, anti-skating adjustment. With the use of a separate spindle (included) the 1019 can play stack of up to 10 records automatically one after the other. Includes wooden base, dust cover and original owners manual. In perfect working order and ready for years of enjoyment! Excellent cosmetic condition with only minor signs of age. The photos came out a bit wierd from sunny day reflections - the turntable's base is in fact black painted wood and looks very clean.
