UNNA III 37 foot ferro cement sloop sailboat Hull built by Sampson Marine in Richmond. Teak interior by Heinz Medau. Currently moored at Stone's Marina, Nanaimo. Moorage may be taken over on approval of marina. See attached marine survey by Koch. One owner, family-loved. Sailed in B.C. waters only, as far as Kitimat and Prince Rupert. The Good -- Boat is roomy, stable and great in rough weather. A ferro cement hull should keep getting stronger for the first 300 years, maintain its strength and integrity for the next 300 years and will start to slowly weaken in the next 300 years -- or so we were told when buying the hull!! The bad --- boat engine started and ran in July 2024 but in August would not start -- mechanic says there is water in the injectors. Requires a holding tank or a composting toilet as current toilet is direct flush. GPS antenea plug is corroded. Please email mlwarren@telus.net with any questions or to make an appointment to view.
