We've been building haulers as a hobby for 10 years now, every year we get more and more requests. As we run a small operation we only build so many hauler a year, you can be one of the lucky few. We have local fishing guides doing on going research and development on my haulers so I can offer the best product on the market. The "Hula", Hands Free Hauler can be used for prawn or crab. The Hula can easily pull 2 to 4 Prawn or a commercial crab trap. We use a 3000lb ATV winch motor with offers great dependability, we tested it up to over 350lb pulls. The ATV motor that I use have a very good life span, they just don't burn out. The hauler mounts to a $cotty single pin #1023 down rigger adapter, we also offer an all Aluminum deck mount. The hauler is built from aluminum frame and is all Tig welded together. It stands a total of 26" tall but for easy storage the main boom flips back over on its self. The overall boom length is 28" long. It uses a H.D. marine type switch with circuit breaker both inside a waterproof electrical box. The unit is coated with a power coated finish in white, for a extra charge of $25.00 and can be powder coated in many colours. The "Hula" hauler uses a large 14" main pulley for a 128 fpm constant haul back, you don't even have to touch the rope when it comes in. Our haulers for torque, doesn't it matter that your traps come up with dependable power. All the plastic parts used are made from a durable long wearing UHMW plastic on the Main Pulley as well, this plastic is used in lots of industrial uses. How about Foot Switch so you can keep your hands so you can keep your hands free to grab your traps. Always watch my Website for something "New" to come out!
