I have owned this boat for a while now and regularly sail here in Transfer Bay in Ladysmith. It is a fast boat that keep up with 30 footers in the right conditions, if you google reviews of J22s, you will see they are highly recommended and still races in large fleets today. Hull # 283 Year is 1983 Bottom was cleaned last year, probably could use with a bottom paint. No soft spots or leaks. In over a year, I have only sponged out the bilge once of an 1” of water that was most likely from condensation. The Motor: 2021 Mercury 5 hp with 4 hours on it. Barely broken in and the oil has been changed twice. Still under warranty as well. Main Sails: The orginal sail is a full batten and is still serviceable. The lower window will require replacement 2nd head sail is a quantum sail that is still very crisp as it is only a couple of years old. Head Sails: 125 carbon laminate quantum in good condition 100 carbon laminate in good condition 125 Dacron to match the new head sail. Good condition
